For example, we represented the developer who won the landmark zoning case In re Appeal of JAM Golf, 2008 VT 110, 185 Vt. 201, 969 A. 2d 47, in which the Vermont Supreme Court held that property owners' constitutional due process rights require municipal zoning regulations to state specific standards for land use rather than employing vague provisions that give planning and zoning boards considerable discretion.
